Dr. Peter Maduro will present a paper now provisionally entitled, "In Defense of Illusion", which examines the generative role of the imagination in
the human person's tolerance of existential anxiety and terror (Angst). William Coburn, Ph.D.. will discuss Dr. Maduro's paper presentation, and offer
his own distinctive thoughts on the topic of affect-tolerance from his distinctive psychoanalytic complexity perspective. The panel will be moderated
by Mary Sussillo, LCSW.
